thanks for visiting my post, i am not sure if anyone is going to need this but just incase there is someone who is lost as i was so i am posting here for your help.

if you want to know how to login as root or superuser on your ssh session to your ec2 server from amazon, all you have to do is send this command:

sudo su

thats it, just use sudo su to get root access
