for the last month or so i have been wondering in my mind how i can find out whether or not i owe any money to the IRS. i wanted to know because my friend told me that if you owe money to the Internal Revenue Service, they charge you interest and every year it keeps going up. that got me really scared. so i started to find out how i can contact the IRS regarding whether or not i owe money to the irs. so i called their 800 number, i spoke to a lady there, she asked for my personal information and then she told me i dont owe any money so i dont have to worry about anything. i can't believe some people like me are also wanting to know if they owe money to the irs. if so, i would like to know why you think you own money to the irs anyway?
