can you please help me, i logged into my server using ssh to login to my linux command shell and when i send a comand to transfer a database from another server to a new server, i get this error:

ERROR at line 1: Unknown command '\'.

but its weird cuz i have never gotten it before until now, this is a new server with red hat fedora core 7

any help?
