I have a dedicated server from webune and I have a script that required GD2 to be installed by my web hosting provider.

Can you please tell me what command I need to execute to see what version of GD i have installed in my server

this is the command you need:

rpm -q php-gd

after you send this command you should see something like this:

php-gd-5.1.4-1

You can either run the phpinfo() function eithin a php file or see if the /etc/php.d/gd.ini file exists

dear friend,
even i had the same problem. and as our friend suggested phpinfo() file did not gave me the information.
i had a gallery installed in my server. so i logged as site administrator of menalto gallery. on gd tab it toled me that gd is not installed
