ma friend is so cute,, i want to know if he talks to me like i am a child does he like me?

lately he been talking to me like a little kid and its cute and all but does that mean he like me. im kinda nervous cuz i do like him but i want him to make the first move. we talk on the phone all the time and he text me. there are time when he be talking like a litle boy and i kinda like it, but i dont want to look desperate so if he is talking to me like a little boy does that me that he likes me?
