Don't believe everything you hear in the movies.
The verse on the movie is fake. The real Ezekiel 25:17 says:
"I will execute great vengeance on them with furious rebukes; and they shal know that I am the Lord. When I lay My vengeance upon them."
The fake verse in the movies said by Samuel Jackson is:
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."
actually bill, there are several translations of it. i like the amplified bible translation best, because it encompasses verses 15 - 17 and you find that it's speaking of the philistines and the cretans (the one's who are about to be trounced).

I may have skipped it going over all the morons biblical quotes, but Quentin Tarantino wrote those words, not the bible, he took a quote, made it his own, and went with it...I dont think he cared to much about the morons looking it up. He has made this public, soooo there ya go
