do you rememember what's the default username and password when you first install webmin.

i just installed webmin and i don't know what the login username and password should be, i want to know how to configure webmin

the default password and username is the same as your linux root password. just enter root as the username and then the system root password and you should be able to get in

Included with the Webmin distribution is a program called changepass.pl to solve erecisely this problem. Assuming you have installed Webmin in /usr/libexec/webmin, you could change the password of the admin user to foo by running: /usr/libexec/we /etc/webmin admin foo
